Lenovo Flex 5G Debuts with Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband Connected Device Plan

Verizon has announced the launch of the Lenovo Flex 5G – the world’s first 5G Ultra Wideband laptop. It is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Compute platform and delivers download speeds of up to 2GBps thanks to Verizon’s first 5G Ultra-Wideband Connected Device Plan, starting at $30 per month. The service is currently available on 14 devices in parts of 35 cities in the US.

Crafted from premium aluminum and soft-touch magnesium, the 2-in-1 Flex 5G laptop offer full PC functionality with a 14-inch FHD wide-angle IPS touchscreen display, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, 2 x front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos audio, 2x USB-C ports, SIM card slot and the battery offers up to 24 hours of local video playback. The plan allows the device switch connectivity seamlessly between 5G Ultra Wideband, 4G LTE and WiFi.

To ensure security, the device has an integrated IR camera and Windows Hello feature. The Lenovo Flex 5G is now available online for US$ 1,400 retail or US$ 58.33 a month for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment. Accessories such as the Incase Compact Sleeve (US$ 49.99), Lenovo USB-C 7-in-1 Hub (US$ 99.99) and Logitech Pebble i345 Mouse (US$ 29.99) are also on sale.
