It has been success so far this year for Lenovo as it is currently the biggest PC manufacturer in the world. The company scored more valuation when it officially completed the purchase of Motorola from Google, establishing it as the current third or fourth largest manufacturer in the world as well as enhancing its smartphone business.
Lenovo has announced an addition to the Golden Warrior family in form of the Golden Warrior Note 8. It is another okay phablet 4G LTE connectivity, supports Dual SIM functionality and runs on Android Kitkat OS with Android Lollipop update tipped soon. Going over the specs, there is nothing out of the ordinary except you count LTE connectivity support.

The Lenovo Golden Warrior Note 8 actually features a 6-inch (not 8-inch as some sources report) 720 x 1280 pixels IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen resulting in a pixel density of 245ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 Mediatek MT6752 with Mali-T760 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 32GB).
On the rear is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera. Connectivity option includes – Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0.
Lenovo Golden Warrior Note 8 phablet rear
The Lenovo Golden Warrior Note 8 phablet measures 169.3 x 83.6 x 8.7mm, weighs 190 grams, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with VIBE UI ontop and packs a 3300mAh battery. It is expected to go on sale in China in time for the Chinese New Year with a ¥1200 (around $196) price tag in Black and White colour option; its international availability is still a bit in the dark.
