Not one of the dominant players locally here, Lenovo has announced new smartphones in the VIBE series – the Lenovo VIBE P1m and Lenovo VIBE S1 in Nigeria. Both devices are already said to be available from accredited dealers in the country but pricing is not detailed.
Speaking on the launch of the Lenovo VIBE P1m and Lenovo VIBE S1 in Nigeria, Executive Director, Mobile Business Group at Lenovo Middle East and Africa (MEA), Mr. Shashank Sharma said:

The Lenovo VIBE P1m boasts of a 4000mAh battery with quick charging feature, manual power saver switch, energy-saving software, and stands out with its exceptional battery life. It can be uses as a power bank to charge other USB-connected mobile devices using an OTG cable.
The device sports a 5-inch 720p HD display and has advanced Nano coating to protected the device from accidental spills. Others includes – quad-core 64-bit Mediatek MT6735P processor with 2GB RAM, 8MP PDAF main camera, 5MP front camera and 4G LTE support.
The Lenovo VIBE S1 on the other hand is the company’s first dual selfie camera smartphone and is one for the selfie-centric users. It has an attractive curved glass design, a front facing camera that combines both 8MP + 2MP snappers and rear facing 13MP camera with Dual Tone Flash.
Asides being a camera-centric device, the VIBE S1 sports a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display along with 3GB RAM, Octa-core Mediatek processor, 32GB built-in storage, 4G LTE support, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and backed by a battery that offers up to 11 days on standby mode.
