Lenovo K3 Note Phablet goes launched in India for $157

Lenovo has taken the wraps off the phablet sized Lenovo K3 Note in India. The device which is priced at INR 9,999 ($157) and would be available via a series of flash sales starting on July 8th exclusively to Flipkart. Onyx Black, Pearl White, and Laser Yellow are the available colour options.

Commenting on the launch, the Director, Smartphones, Lenovo India, Sudhin Mathur said, “We are truly overwhelmed with the positive response from consumers for our 4G portfolio. To further enhance our consumer’s experience we are launching a device with great multitasking capabilities and unrivalled features at an affordable price. The K3 Note is certainly a disruptive offering with its future-proof features, superior multi-media experience and extraordinary performance.”

Moving to the specs, the Lenovo K3 Note phablet sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6572 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. For additional storage there is a microSD card slot which expands up to 32GB. 

On the rear, there is a 13MP camera Dual LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the K3 Note includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and GPS/AGPS. It supports both LTE Bands – the FDD-LTE 1800MHz Band 3 and TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40 in India. 

The Lenovo K3 Note measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99mm in dimensions, weighs 150 grams, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Lenovo Vibe UI. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to provide around 39 hours of talk time on 2G, 16 hours on 3G and 11 days of standby time.
