Despite the Miix 510 2-in-1 tablet with keyboard cover & Intel Skylake-U CPUs just making its way to some markets, Lenovo is already working on the sequel with Intel Kaby Lake processors. The Lenovo Miix 520 is yet to be officially announced, however, it could likely launch at the CES 2017.
Based on Windows 10 OS, the Lenovo Miix 520 is expected to feature a 12.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA), Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an active digitizer with Wacom pen support that in turn supports 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and Windows Ink.
It will be available in multiple models with different processors – Core i7-7500U, Core i5-7200U and Core i3-7100U Kaby Lake processors as well as a cheaper Core i3-6006U Skylake model. These models will use passive cooling system with heat pipes and vapour chamber rather than a fan.
The rest of the features includes – two USB Type-C ports, a full-sized USB 3.0 port, microSD card reader, up to 16GB of RAM, 41Wh battery, Dual cameras (8MP + 2MP), front 5MP webcam, Fingerprint reader with Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x Stereo speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio, 4G LTE and up to 512GB SSD storage.
