More details about the upcoming Moto G5S Plus has surfaced online thanks to @evleaks for VentureBeats. The successor to the Moto G5 Plus, which was recently spotted in a leaked roadmap, will have a more premium body build and a number of imaging (camera). It will also be bigger than the G5 Plus (above 5.2-inch).
The Moto G5S Plus will feature a duar rear camera setup – 13MP (RGB) + 13MP (Monochrome) sensors, with features such as bokeh effect, background elements and more. The front selfie camera is a 8MP sensor with selfie flash. It sports a larger 5.5-inch dislay with 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) screen resolution while the smaller Moto G5S will have a 5.2-inch display with the same resolution.
As expected, the device is water resistant and comes in Single or Dual SIM models as well as 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB RAM and storage variants. It will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 mobile platform (2.0GHz; octa-core) and boot Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
The Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus are expected to go official alongside other new Moto-branded smartphones by Lenovo: the Moto X4 and Moto Z2 Force at an event on July 25th in New York City.
