Lenovo has a new phablet in the works – the Lenovo PB1-770N (possibly just the codename) as it is known has been certified by TENAA in China. This time around the Certification agency only has some of the specifications of the smartphone.
Let’s get into the act, The Lenovo PB1-770N has a metallic uni-body build which is reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus smartphone and has a single piece of plastic at the rear camera which is placed strategically to ensure the maximisation of power and the stability of the device’s antenna.
It measures 186.6 x 96.6 x 7.7mm in dimensions and a 6.8-inch display which is almost the same size of some tablets. The resolution of the display is not listed and the processor is not listed. The rest of the PB1-770N specs includes – 4G LTE support, Beidou GPS support, micro USB 2.0 port for charging, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby
The smartphone would be backed by a 3500mAh battery and would run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS. There is no word on other specification and it is unknown if we are dealing with a high-end or low-end device here.
If the Lenovo PB1-770N want to compete with the Huawei P8 Max which has the same 6.8-inch display or the Apple iPhone 6 Plus which the device’s body is said to be modelled after. Then is has to come up with the goods (appropriate specs) to compete.
