After a somewhat long period of absence, Lenovo has returned to the smartphone scene with the launch of the Lenovo S5. The mid-ranger is the first ever smartphone from the brand with a fullscreen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, dual rear cameras and boots Android 8.0 Oreo OS with ZUI 3.7.
The Lenovo S5 comes fitted with 13MP (Monochrome) + 13MP (RBG) dual rear cameras with f/2.2 aperture and dual tone LED flash. It has a front facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80.2-degree wide angle lens as well as AI-powered Face Beauty features and Face Unlock.
The smartphone has a 5.7-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass, metal unibody design, hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano /microSD), rear fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port for charging. It will arrive in Black and Red colours and power is supplied by a 3,000mAh battery.
Internally, the Lenovo S7 relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB /128GB built-in expandable storage. The 3GB + 32GB variant starts at CNY 999 (US$ 157) while the 4GB + 64GB variant starts at CNY 1,199. The 4GB + 128GB version costs CNY 1,499 (US$ 236).
