Lenovo Tab 3 7 Basic Tablet Quietly Launched in Europe

Lenovo has quietly launched the low-cost Lenovo Tab 3 7 Basic tablet into the European market (at the moment in ‎Eastern Europe, Northern Europe and Germany)‎. Some online stores in Europe have listed the device for about EUR 80 price tag and it is also expected to be available in the USA, Asia and possible other global markets. ‎

The Lenovo Tab 3 7 Basic tablet has a plastic body build, sports a 7-inch IPS display with 1024 x 600 pixels screen resolution, weighs 300 grams, measures 190 x 113 x 9.9 mm in dimensions and is backed by a 3450mAh battery which the listing says should offer up to 10 hours of mixed usage. ‎

The slate relies on a quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with ARM Mali-450 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. It has a front facing 0.3-megapixel camera, rear facing 2-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot for additional storage space (up to 32GB).‎

The Lenovo Tab 3 7 Basic is available in two models – the Wi-Fi only model (TB3-710F) and 3G model with a SIM card slot (TB3-710I); both models run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. ‎Other connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and micro USB.

There are chances the Lenovo Tab 3 7 Basic and other expected devices from Lenovo could see an official announcement at the MWC 2016. ‎
