At the MWC 2017, Lenovo announced family friendly Tab 4 Series tablets. The models from the Lenovo Tab 4 Series family comprises of the Lenovo Tab 4 8, Tab 4 10, Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus. All models boot Android 7.0 Nougat OS, have either Wi-FI-only or Wi-Fi + LTE models, and are expected to arrive anytime in the month of May.
- The Lenovo Tab 4 8 has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB built-in expandable storage, 5MP/2MP rear and front cameras, 2 speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 4,850 mAh battery. Pricing starts at US$ 109.
- Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has the same 8-inch display with a higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and available in two variants – 3GB/16GB and 4GB/64GB RAM and storage. Others include – 8MP/5MP rear and front cameras, fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port. Pricing starts at US$ 199.
- Lenovo Tab 4 10 has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) IPS display, and 7000mAh battery. The rest of the specs including the processor and memory, are the same as the Lenovo Tab 4 8. Pricing starts at US$ 149.
- Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and 7000mAh battery. The rest is same as the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. Pricing starts at US$ 249.
Lenovo is also offering a kids case (8-inch: US$ 19.99 and 10-inch: US$ 24.99 ) with features dedicated to children such as shock resistant bumper, scratch protective stickers and eye protecting blue light filter. The company is also offering a 10-inch keyboard case with a Bluetooth keyboard which costs US$ 49.99.
