Lenovo has announced a sum of five new Android tablets: two mainstream and premium ones – Lenovo Tab P10 and Tab M10 and the other three – Lenovo Tab E7, Lenovo Tab E8 and Lenovo Tab E10 are built for sharing and entertainment in the family.
Lenovo Tab P10
Housed in either Aurora Black or Sparkling White colours, the ultra-premium Lenovo Tab P10 has a glass back and metal body frame. It has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, four Dolby Atmos speakers, 8MP +5MP rear and front cameras, fingerprint sensor and a large 7,000mAh battery.
The slate packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It measures 7 mm thick, weighs 440 grams and comes pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition.
Lenovo Tab M10
The Lenovo Tab M10 sports a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, 5MP + 2MP rear and front cameras, and boots Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition. It also packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage.
The Tab M10 has dual front speakers and is backed by a 4,850mAh battery. Families with kids can enjoy the up-to-date Kids Mode and there are also optional Kids pack to choose from.
Lenovo Tab E7, Tab E8 and Tab E10
Lenovo’s new Tab E series of basic tablets are available in three display size options: 7-inch (Lenovo Tab E7), 8-inch (Lenovo Tab E8) and 10-inch (Lenovo Tab E8). All three have the same 1280 x 800 pixels display resolution and run Android Oreo Go Edition (except the Tab E8 which runs Android Nougat OS).
The Tab E7 is based on the Mediatek MT8321 chipset for the Wi-Fi-only model and MediaTek MT8167 for the 3G model. It packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD), 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP VGA front camera and a 2,750mAh battery.
The slightly bigger Tab E8 is equipped with the MediaTek MT8163B chipset, 16GB built-in expandable storage, 1x front Dolby Atmos speaker and backed by a 4,850mAh battery. It measures 8.9mm thick, weighs 320 grams and offers up to 10 hours of local video playback time.
The Lenovo Tab E10 comes equipped with 2x front facing stereo speakers and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage. Like the Tab E8, it also sports a rear 5MP AF camera and front facing 2MP FF camera.
Pricing and Availability
- The Lenovo Tab P10 and Lenovo Tab M10 are expected to be available for pre-order in North America starting this Winter.
- The Lenovo Tab E7 along with a bundled back cover is exclusive to Walmart.com and will go on sale in October starting at $69.99.
- The Lenovo Tab E8 is already on sale at Walmart stores for $99.99.
- The Lenovo Tab E10 is expected to go on sale in October 2018 for a price tag starting at $129.99. It will be available from Walmart stores and select retailers.
