Lenovo has released a limited-edition model of the ThinkPad to celebrate the 25th year anniversary of the lineup. The Lenovo ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25 was unveiled at the Yamato Labs in Japan, the birthplace of the original ThinkPad 700C which was announced on October 5th in 1992.
Pre-loaded with Windows 10 OS and powered by an Intel Core i7-7500U processor with discrete NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, the Lenovo ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25 comes equipped with retro features such as the dedicated volume keys, backlit 7-row ThinkPad Classic keyboard, multiple status LEDs and multicolour logo.
It sports a classical Thinkpad design, fingerprint reader with Windows Hello login and a 14-inch Full HD display with touch. The ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25 will be available in limited quantities in select countries for a price tag of US$ 1,899 via Lenovo.com and business partners.
