Lenovo is adding a new ‘value for money’ device to the Vibe series family, the Lenovo Vibe C, is a new low-end device with decent-enough specs to end up as a backup phone or an option for starters. It has gone on pre-orders on Croatian e-commerce website – Ekupi for a price tag equivalent to $105.
The Lenovo Vibe C sports a plastic polycarbonate body, 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and relies on a 2300mAh battery for juice. On the inside, it is powered by an unnamed quad-core processor and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with the Vibe UI expected ontop.
The device packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 32GB. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
Taking a cue from other Lenovo Vibe devices, there should be Dual Micro SIM slots onboard. There is also 4G LTE connectivity onboard. Going by the listing, shipping commenced on May 18th in Croatia but there is still no word from Lenovo on availability in other markets.
