Lenovo has quietly announced the Turbo variant of the Vibe P1 big-capacity battery smartphone. Rightfully named Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo, it bears semblance with the previously tipped Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro which now has zero chances of seeing a launch date.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo keeps the same 5000mAh battery capacity of the Vibe P1 which the listing boasts of up to 45 hours of talk time and up to 30 days of standby time. It supports Quick charging 2.0 (up to 60% battery in 30 minutes) and also charges other mobile device via USB OTG.
The device keeps the same 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor but the RAM memory has increase to 3GB while the internal storage space remains 32GB. It supports Dual SIM slots and has a microSD card slot for catering for additional storage space (up to 128GB).
According to the listing, the Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo now has a rear facing 16-megapixel camera with tri-color flash but there are chances the 13-megapixel camera could be unchanged from the OG model. The front camera is a 5-megapixel camera and there is a fingerprint scanner below the main camera.
Connectivity options on the Vibe P1 Turbo includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC and GPS. It measures 152.9 x 75.6 x 9.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 189 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s Vibe UI on top.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo is available on pre-order on the Lenovo Indonesia website for a price equivalent to $297 (Rp 3,999,000) in Dark Gray, Gold and Silver colour options.
