Lenovo Vibe S1 (Lenovo S1c50) Certified on TENAA in China

Lenovo was supposed to announce the Lenovo Vibe S1 at the MWC 2015 earlier this year, that didn’t happen but it is more likely the device was showed of in closed doors. 

The only information we had about the Lenovo Vibe S1 is that it is targeted at the teens, it would have a nice thin and round body build which would be accompanied by a glass protection on its rear. The device was also expected to have a large front facing camera for selfies and have several hues (colours) to choose from.

A launch for the Vibe S1 could be imminent as the device has made its way to Chinese Certification Agency, TENAA. The midrange spec(ed) Lenovo Vibe S1 (Lenovo S1c50) features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, there are three capacitive buttons below the display and is expected to be available in Black, White, Violet, Blue and Pink Colour options. 

Handling tasks on the device is 2GB of RAM, there is 16GB space of internal storage for files and whathaveyous, a microSD card slot for storage expansion and under the hood it is powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz (could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor). 

On the rear is a 13MP main camera and the front facing camera is a 8MP snapper for selfies plus video chats. It comes with Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE connectivity (TD-LTE + FDD-LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. 

The Lenovo Vibe S1 measures 143 × 70.8 × 7.85mm in dimensions, weighs 130 grams, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Lenovo Vibe UI ontop and is backed by a 2420mAh battery.
