At the MWC 2015 earlier this year in Barcelona, Lenovo announced the Lenovo Vibe Shot as well as some other smartphones. The device which originally sports a FHD display on the unit announced has been spotted on TENAA with a HD display (Lenovo Vibe Shot HD); this simply points to the fact that we should see two versions of the device, possibly for different markets.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot HD display uses a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) but it has basically the same specifications and body design as the original Vibe Shot with a display resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels (FHD).
The device still sports the same – 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, Dual SIM slots (with Dual Standby) and supports 4G LTE connectivity. It packs a sizeable 2900mAh lithium-polymer battery and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the box.
The Vibe Shot is a camera-centric smartphone with much of its focus on its rear facing 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), six-element lens, 16:9 lowlight sensor and tricolor LED flash. The main camera lens is protected by sapphire glass while the front facing camera is a 8MP snapper for selfies.
