A midrange smartphones from Lenovo with the moniker Lenovo X2 has been spotted on TENAA which is China’s equivalent of the FCC in the US. Trust hawk eyed observers, as the device was certified some of the spec sheet has been spotted along with the device.
The Lenovo X2 would feature two different chipset, there is a X2-CU and X2-TO model. The X2-CU model would feature an octa-core MediaTek chipset and the X2-TO would feature a dual-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Asides the chipset difference, the specs are basically the same for the two models.
Other features includes a 5.0-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels (Full HD)IPS display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage, 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, front facing 5MP camera, and runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS.
Both models measure 140.2 x 68.6 x 7.27mm in dimensions, weighs 120 grams in size and the build looks a lot like a Sony Xperia device. The device is also expected to support GSM/TD-LTE/WCDMA networks.
The Lenovo X2 would definitely be in the high range category and with the IFA 2014 looming upon us, the device could make its appearance there.
