Lenovo has announced a new Windows 10 convertible laptop – the Lenovo Yoga 700, designed for portability and performance. The laptop comes in 11-inch and 14-inch screen models; and can be used in four modes like most Yoga series device – Laptop, Stand, Tablet and Tent.
Both screen models (11-inch and 14-inch) of the Lenovo Yoga 700 have a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and responsive 10-point multitouch. It is powered by up to 6th-Gen Intel Core i7 processors with an optional NVIDIA GeForce 9340M GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.
The 11-inch model is touted to be ultra-portable as it weighs 1.1kg and measures 15.8mm thin; while the 14-inch model designed for productivity has up to 256GB SSD. Both models however have up to 7 hours of battery life, AccuType backlit keyboard and Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater stereo speakers.
Commenting on the launch, the senior vice president, PC Business Group, Lenovo, Johnson Jia said;
“We know fast performance, easy portability, and rich sound and display are features consumers expect in a laptop today. That’s why we made the new YOGA 700 thinner and more powerful than ever with Windows 10 and Intel’s latest processor. We also added a Full HD IPS display and Dolby stereo speakers as part of its standard features so that consumers can get a premium quality convertible laptop for work and travel, at the price of a standard laptop.”
In terms of pricing, the 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 700 starts at $649 while the 14-inch Yoga 700 starts at $799.
