Lenovo has announced a new Yoga series Android OS tablet – the Lenovo Yoga A12. The productivity-focused slate comes with the company’s Halo Keyboard feature – a fully flat, touch-screen keyboard with smart adaptive learning and typing, built-in prediction, which helps it achieve its thin profile.
Housed in a premium looking magnesium & aluminium body, weighing less than 1kg, the Lenovo Yoga A12 sports a 12.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD touchscreen display with anti-glare coating for the right matte finish, two speakers with immersive cinema-like sound of Dolby Atmos and promises up to 13 hours of battery life (mixed usage) on a single charge.
On the inside, the slate is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5 64-bit processor with Intel’s Gen 8 graphics, 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. It comes pre-loaded with Google productivity suite apps and a multi-tasking hybrid UI.
Like other prominent Yoga series tablets, the Lenovo Yoga A12 can be used in different screen modes – the Laptop, Stand, Tablet and Tent modes, thanks to its 360-degree hinge. It will be available starting this Wednesday (February 8th) on Lenovo.com for a price tag of $299. Gun Metal Grey and Rose Gold are the colours on offer.
