Lenovo, owner of the ZUK branch, has officially announced the ZUK Z2 in India as the Lenovo Z2 Plus. The top shelf device is already listed exclusively on Amazon.in for a price starting at INR 17999 ($270) for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model and Rs 19999 ($300) for the 4GB/64GB model.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 powered Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch Full HD display and packs 6 built-in professional sensors – 3 axis gyro sensor, 3 axis electronic compass sensor, 3 axis accelerometer sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor and pedometer.
Sporting a fibre glass frame and rollcage design, the UHealth App on the device – tracks steps, calories and distance covered, while the pro-fitness sensors onboard is compatible with all pro grade fitness trackers like heart rate monitors and power meters.
The Z2 Plus is redesigned entirely for the Indian market and supports both VoLTE and carrier aggregation. The default launcher has changed to Google Now and there are on-screen keyboard. The U Touch 2.0 button which also doubled as the fingerprint sensor can perform seven (7) other functions.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is backed by a 3500mAh battery and comes with a customised 13MP ISOCELL camera with f/2.2 aperture, EIS stabilisation, and 0.1s PDAF, alongside a 8MP selfie camera with wide angle lens.
