Lenovo has launched its first triple camera smartphone – the Lenovo Z5s. The latest entrant to the Z series slots in ahead of the Lenovo Z5 but behind the Lenovo Z5 Pro. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 AIE Turbo octa-core SoC and boots Android Oreo with ZUI 10 on top.
The Lenovo Z5s has a 6.39-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ LTPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 92.6% screen-to-body ratio and 450 nits peak brightness, metal body frame, glass back and P2i Splash-Resistant coating to withstand light rain and accidental spills.
The triple rear camera setup incorporates a primary 16MP (f/1.8) sensor with wide-angle lens; secondary 8MP (f/2.4) sensor with telephoto lens for 2x zoom and 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor for portrait shots. Other features include PDAF, 4K video recording and Dual Tone LED flash.
The waterdrop notch houses the 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with pixel binning technology and face unlock support. The rest of the specs include fingerprint sensor, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB-C port and 3,300mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The Lenovo Z5s is available in three memory configurations: 4GB + 64GB for CNY 1,398 (USD 203) and 6GB + 64GB for CNY 232). The Special Honey Love Orange Zhu Yilong custom edition with 6GB + 128GB and the Chinese actor’s signature is on sale for CNY 1,998 (USD 290).
All three models will go on sale starting on December 24 and arrives in Honey Love Orange, Starry Gray and Titanium Crystal Blue colours.
