Starting May 28, Lenovo will commence sales of the Lenovo Z6 Lite in China. Unlike the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform on the Lenovo Z6 Pro, the Z6 Lite is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform and comes in three memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage for CNY 1099 (US$ 158); the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage for CNY 1,399 (US$ 202) and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for CNY 1,699 (US$ 245).
Housed in a magnesium alloy body frame, similar to ThinkPad notebooks, with glass back, the Lenovo Z6 Lite has a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19.5:9 LCD display with dewdrop notch, 93.07% screen-to-body ratio and HDR10 support, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, rear fingerprint sensor and hybrid Dual SIM slots. Power is supplied by a 4,050mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
Photography is handled by an AI-powered triple rear camera setup which includes a primary 16MP (f/1.8) shooter with Dual LED flash, 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens for 8x hybrid zoom and 5MP (f/2.2) shooter for portrait shots. The front notch houses the 16MP selfie camera. The phone comes pre-loaded with ZUI 11 (based on Android 9 Pie) and arrives in Midnight Black and Startdust colours.
