Finally, Chinese company LeTV has announced its first range of smartphones – the LeTV One, LeTV One Pro and the LeTV Max smartphones.
All three smartphones comes with top of the range specs, Dual SIM LTE support, bezel-free display (edge-to-edge display), USB Type-C ports and users will be treated to high quality audio performance with the LeHi-Fi audio technology on-board.
Then comes LeTV’s Ecosystem UI which the LeTV One, One Pro and Max smartphones run on; it is based on Android Lollipop OS – while it is different from the stock Lollipop; it is modded to suit the company’s needs but straightforward to use.
Starting with the cheapest of the trio – The LeTV One. It is powered by an Octa-core Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2 GHZ with 3 GB of RAM memory and a 5.5-inch (1920 X 1080 pixels) FHD display. Handling photography on the device is a rear facing 13MP camera f/2.0 camera with OIS and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats.
It weighs 170 grams, measures 147.8 x 74.2 x 9.5mm in dimensions, backed by a 3000mAh battery and we are not forgetting the 1.2mm side bezels which makes it rather narrow but can be handled with one hand. It is expected to cost around $240 which gives the OnePlus One a run for its money.
Next in line is the LeTV One Pro, it takes it specs up to another level with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 5.5-inch Quad-HD display (538ppi). The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB space of internal storage.
Handling photography on the device is a 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and OIS; a front facing 4MP UltraPixel camera is on-board for selfies and video chats. The One Pro weighs 177 grams, measures 148.4 x 73.8 x 9.4mm in dimensions and it’s side bezels has shrunk to 1mm. The device would sell for $400 (32GB) and $435 (64GB) models.
The LeTV Max is the biggest of the trio and the most speced; it sports a 6.33-inch Quad HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB space of internal storage.
The main camera is a 21MP Sony IMX230 Sensor with OIS and dual-LED; the front camera is 4MP UltraPixel sensor. The Max weighs 204 grams, measures 167.1 mm x 83.5 x 8.95mm in dimensions, Fingerprint sensor, Wireless HDMI, 0.8mm side bezels and backed by a 3400mAh battery.
