Over the year, smartphone manufacturers have been gently eradicating the size bezels around the screen on their respective device. It has been eradicated to such a point that we now have different bezel-less smartphones flying around the ecosystem. LeTV is preparing to release the LeTV X900 smartphone which has its screen extend across the display with no bezels at all.
A bezel-less smartphone has its disadvantages, one of them is the device would easily shatter once pressure is applied to it whether by hand or when it drops to the ground. However, no one can deny how beautiful the smartphones tend to be when it has it bezels non-existent.
Moving to the specs, The LeTV X900 Bezel-less smartphone sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display; powered by an octa-core processor which clocks at 2.2GHz with 2GB of RAM, Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and 16GB space of internal storage. It is however unclear if there is a microSD card slot on-board.
On the rear there is a 13MP camera, a front facing 5MP camera and the device is the first Android device to use the Type-C USB connector which debuted with the 2015 Chromebook pixel and the new Apple Macbook launched.
The LeTV X900 is expected to be released around the end of April this year. LeTV has been teasing different smartphones this year, hopefully we will get to see them officially announced. No matter how hard the X900 looks, it is expected to be available in China only. International availability is looking so bleak.
