LG has announced a new action camera with built-in 4G LTE connectivity and 4K Video recording. Rightfully dubbed the LG Action CAM LTE (or LG Action CAM), the new member to the LG Friends ecosystem allows users stream directly to sites such as YouTube Live without using a smartphone.
Backed by a 1400mAh battery, good for up to 4 hours of Full HD recording time; the Action CAM LTE packs live streaming functionality as well as Remote Accesss feature which would arrive via software update in July, allow the camera perform most of the functions of a CCTV camera.
The camera is IP67 certified (dust- and waterproof), has an optional mount and a completely waterproof case (available Q3 2016) which would allow for more rigorouss usage.
