LG has announced a new Disney-themed smartphone in Japan – the smartphone which is without a brand name is known with the model number – LG DM-01G. The smartphone is said to be a NTT-DoCoMo exclusive in the country and is available in Blue, White and Pink colour options.
The LG DM-01G is the eight smartphone from the NTT DoCoMo’s ‘Disney Mobile smartphone line-up’ in the country and from what we have seen it is a very successful line which sells a lot. The DM in the model name of the device actually refers to Disney Mobile.
Talking about the specs, the smartphone is powered by the rather old quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of expandable internal storage. The display is of 5.2-inch size with a (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD resolution, rear facing 13.2MP camera and a front facing 2.4MP sensor for selfies.
The LG DM-01G measures 144 x 74 x 10.8mm in dimensions, weighs 149 grams and is backed by a removable 2920mAh battery. It comes with a Mickey Mouse Swarovski cover which is said to be embedded with Swarovski crystals and interacts with the custom lock.
It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop and comes with Disney Themes such as Alice the wonderland, Cinderella, Frozen and Little Mermaid.
