An unannounced low-midrange smartphone from LG has been spotted on AT&T website; the LG Escape 2 (H443) as it is known, has a slightly curved body build just like the LG G4 which make its easily gripped. It is reportedly already selling for a price tag around $179 off contract from AT&T.
The LG Escape 2 (LG H443) sports a 4.7-inch In-cell display with (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
There is a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash and below it is the rear power and volume buttons. There is a front facing camera (probably 0.3MP/VGA) also for selfies and video chats. It weighs 119 grams, measures 133.34 x 66.04 x 9.9mm in dimensions, supports 4G LTE, NFC, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2100mAh battery which is expected to provide up to 17 days of standby time.
The LG Escape 2 also employs some of LG UX features which got more popular with the LG G3 such as Knock Code – for creating a secure patterned password for locking and unlocking the device; Gesture Shot – for taking selfies by making a hand gesture and Q Slide – this allows two apps to work alongside one another (multitasking). There is also Quick Memo+ and KnockOn.
