US Carrier, AT&T has announced a new Android tablet from LG; the LG G Pad F 8.0 as it is known will be available starting May 29th. The tablet is available for $0 down and $12.50 per month on an AT&T Tablet Installment plan, $149.99 with a two- year agreement or to a new or existing Mobile Share Value plan for $10 per month.
The LG G Pad F 8.0 bears so many semblance with the LG G Pad 8.0 which launched last year. However, the tablet comes with full-size USB port and built-in stylus. It sports a 8-inch HD+ (1280 x 800 pixels) display with Zero Gap technology and One Gas solution.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. The RAM is not stated but it is comes with 16GB space of internal storage out of which 9.1GB is available and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The rear camera on the slate is a 5MP Auto Focus camera with LED flash and the front camera is speculated to be around 1.3MP. The LG G Pad F 8.0 tablet weighs 340 grams (12 ounces), runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 4200mAh battery which is expected to provide around 9.5 hours of usage.
The Stylus Pen that comes with the tablet uses the QuickMemo+ to take notes on display; With the QPair technology, the tablet can be used to answer calls and messages received on compatible Android smartphones (Android 4.1 and higher).
