‎LG Mobiles has announced its latest tablet – the LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE in South Korea. This 6.99 mm thin mid-tier slate is the follow-up to last year’s G Pad III 8.0 and as the name suggest, it retains the same screen size (8-inch), WXGA screen resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and supports LTE connectivity.

Pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the ‎LG G Pad IV 8.0 FHD LTE has a 16:10 aspect ratio and an ‘Easy-to-View’ screen mode that adjusts the blue light emitted from the display as a result reduces eye fatigue. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 mobile platform paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable up to 2TB).

The slate has 5MP front and rear cameras and depends on a 3,000mAh battery for power. It ‎is equipped with various convenience functions such as Knock code (Knock on), dual windows and easy mode. The Dual Windows function allows the screen to be divided into two when two apps are used at the same time (simultaneously).
