LG reportedly stopped working on the LG G Pro 3 to concentrate fully on the flagship – LG G4. With the G4 out of the way, the LG G Pro 2 (announced February 2014) successor is back in the limelight.
Based on new reports, the LG G Pro 3 would feature a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD). Under the hood, it would be powered by the yet to be released Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and would have 4GB of RAM to handle proceedings.
32GB space of internal storage would be available for files and there would be a microSD card slot to extend it further. On the rear, there would be a 20.7MP camera which would either be from Sony or Toshiba and a 8MP front facing snapper would be available for selfies.
Rounding off the LG G Pro 3 specs, the device is expected to have a fingerprint scanner which would likely join the rear buttons just below the camera. The smartphone is expected to run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is due to be launched by the end of the year. The device has a speculated price tag tipped to be around $790.
Compared to the G Pro 3, the LG G Pro 2 features a 5.9-inch FHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB RAM, 16/32GB space of internal storage, 13MP main camera, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 3200mAh battery.
