We have seen the flagship LG G3, the LG G3 Beat, LG G3 Cat.6, the LG G Vista and now another variant of the device, the LG G Stylus (LG G3 S) has been spotted on the FCC website. The LG G Stylus was also spotted yesterday in a promotional video for the LG G3 Beat. The device touted to be a fierce competitor to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been confirmed otherwise to be a budget friendly stylus device with reduced specs compared to the Galaxy Note 4.
The LG G3 Stylus is expected to feature reduced specs to the G3, with a reduced battery, screen resolution and other reduced features. This claims has been confirmed when a UA profile on LG’s website was spotted. The G3 Stylus is listed to have a 5.7-inch 720p resolution display, 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and support for LTE networks.
And according to Industry Source – Korean Times, the LG G3 Stylus is slated to arrive this quarter, which means a September date is possible; considering the IFA 2014 pegged for the same month.
Getting over the disappointment that the G3 Stylus is not a Galaxy Note 4 killer, consumers can look forward to the fact that the phablet would come with a lower price tag.
