The LG G3 Beat was spotted in China weeks ago has been officially announced. The LG G3 Beat (or LG G3 s depending on your location) shares similar design and details with the flagship but comes in a more reduced package.
The LG G3 Beats features a 5.5-Inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 294 pixels per inches and a 74.1% screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 8MP rear camera with Laser AF (Auto+Focus), 1.3MP Front facing camera and microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The LG G3 Beat measures 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.3mm, weighs about 134 grams and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with flat UI ontop. Other software features on the original G3 beat also debuts on the G3 Beat. The device supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, micro-USB 2.0 as connectivity options.
The LG G3 Beat is expected to be available in South Korea as from July 18, and the global roll-out starting from Europe and Commonwealth Independent States will follow in coming weeks. LG also announced that pricing details and availability in each country would be announced locally. The LG G3 Beat could also be called the LG G3 s and it would be available in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold colour variants.
