LG has officially announced the G3 Stylus, one of the many variants of its flagship G3 and it would make its debut at the IFA 2014. The device first surfaced in a leak after being spotted on the FCC as well as in a promotional video.
The LG G3 Stylus features a 5.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD Display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset), 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32/64GB) and a 3000mAh battery.
On the rear is a 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 1.3MP camera for video chats. The camera also takes advantage of some of the UX’s features including the Gesture Shot, Front Camera Light & Touch and Shoot. Connectivity options on the device includes 3G HSPA+, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth but no support for 4G LTE.
The LG G3 Stylus features the G3 design, most of the basic UX features of the G3 and a RubberdiumTM stylus pen. The device also has rear buttons, slim bezels on the front and metallic body.
The device measures 149.3 x 75.9 x 10.2mm, weighs 163grams and runs on Android 4.4Kitkat OS with LG’s proprietary UX Custom interface.
The LG G3 Stylus would be available in Gold, Black and White colour options and the roll out would begin in Brazil by September before being extended to countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East and CIS.
