LG today has announced that the global roll-out of the G4 flagship starts this week. The South Korean company highlights the fact that it has partnered with approximately 180 Carriers and retailers which would sell the device around the world.
The LG G4 Roll-Out begins this week in key markets with Hong Kong, followed by Turkey, Russia and Singapore. Key markets in Europe, North America, CIS, South East Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America. The roll-out would start this week and would go throughout the month into June.
Commenting on the announcement, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said;
“The LG G4 is our most ambitious smartphone yet because it is unlike any other flagship mobile phone on the market today. Our vision is to create our own set of standards without worrying about what trend other smartphones are following. We think we have a winning formula because the initial reaction to the G4 has been tremendously positive.”
The LG G4 is the first smartphone to embrace the Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor which uses X10 LTE and has a 5.5-inch Quantum IPS display which is a huge improvement on the LG G3 in the areas of color reproduction, contrast and brightness. The device comes with a 3000mAh removable battery which supports Quick charge 2.0.
Other key features includes – rear facing 16MP f/1.8 aperture which takes good pictures in low-light, the front facing 8MP camera for selfies – selfies can also be taken by a hand gesture (Gesture Shot), the Slim Arc Design gives it more chance at durability and easy grip.
Pricing and availability of the LG G4 would be announced locally. The device would be available in Leather back covers in Six different colour options.
