LG has sent out invites for an event on October 1st which the company is expected to announce the LG V10/G4 Note/G4 Pro and other possible devices including a smartwatch or other smartphones. An upcoming phablet sized device with the moniker – LG H740 has been spotted on GFXBench listing.
The LG H740 sports a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD touchscreen display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and around 16GB space of internal storage out of which only 8GB is user available.
The front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies and the main camera is a 13MP snapper with LED flash; both cameras can capture videos in 1080p Full HD resolution and for additional storage on the device, there should be a microSD card slot. The device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Proximity, Light Sensor, Accelerometer connectivity and sensor options alike.
LG is not making the jump to Android 6.0 Marshmallow yet as the device would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. At the moment, there is no final name for the LG H740 but that could change as soon as more information comes up or at the official event itself.
