LG has introduced the LG isai VL which happens to be the successor to the LG isai FL. The LG isai FL launched in May exclusively on KDDI network in Japan.
Most of the specs are still similar to the LG isai FL with the inclusion of 3GB of RAM (up from 2GB) and comes with Voice-Over-LTE (VOLTE) support. The LG isai VL retains its 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS display, 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330, 32GB of RAM and a microSD card for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
The device sports a 13.2MP rear camera with LED Flash, 4K video recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the LG isai VL includes – Bluetooth 4.0 , GPS, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiMAX 2 +, 3G HSPA+ and 4G LTE with VoLTE .
The LG isai VL is said to be 6grams lighter than its predecessor at 154 grams but still retains the same dimensions – 76 x 145 x 10.5 mm. It is expected to run Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box, is IPX5/IPX7 certified (Waterproof) and packs a 3000mAh battery (580 hours of standby time).
The company did not announce the pricing of the LG isai VL but it would be available in December 2014 through KDDI in Japan. It would be available in Pink, White and Black colour options.
