LG K8 LTE announced with 1.5GB RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow

LG Hungary has listed the LG K8 LTE smartphone ahead of its official announcement. The device is expected to join the LG K4 and LG K10 when they start selling in Global market. While there is no word on pricing and availability, it could be one of the device the South Korean company decides to show off at the MWC 2016

Moving to the specs, the LG K8 LTE relies on a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD In-Cell touch display with 2.5D Curved Glass, measures 144.60 x 71.50 x 8.70mm in dimensions ‎ and weighs in at 157 grams.

In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash (capabe of recording 1080p FHD videos) and a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE/3G, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. 

Sensor options onboard includes – Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, Gyroscope and Proximity. The LG K8 LTE has a microSD card slot for storage expansion, backed by a 2045mAh battery (removable) and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
