LG has announced the 2018 edition of its SIGNATURE series smartphone in Korea. The premium LG SIGNATURE Edition (2018) is based on the LG V35 ThinQ and made of materials such as the Zirconium Ceramic to prevent scratches. It is the successor to last year’s LG SIGNATURE which is based on the LG V30 and customers can also etch their names into the back of the phone.
The LG Signature Edition (2018) is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC anc comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with LG UX on top. It sports a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and HDR 10 support.
For photography, there are 16MP (f/1.6, 107-degree super-wide-angle lens) + 16MP (f/1.9, 71-degree wide-angle lens) dual rear cameras with LG’s AI camera features and a front facing 8MP (f/1.9 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens) camera for selfies.
The smartphone packs 6GB of RAM along with 256GB built-in storage, rear fingerprint sensor, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and DTS: X 3D Surround Sound. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging.
The LG Signature Edition (2018) is available in Black and White colour options for a price tag of KRW 1, 999, 800 (~US$ 1,800). It will go on sale starting August 13th and also comes with a free Bang & Olufsen (B & O) Beoplay H9i headphones.
