LG U+ commences Sales of LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE in South Korea

LG has announced the LTE model of the successor to the LG G Pad 8.3 – the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE in South Korea. Sales of the tablet commences tomorrow (December 23rd, 2015) through country’s local mobile operator – LG U+ in Brown Gold colour option only. Pricing is unavailable at the moment.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE sports a 8.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA) and a pixel density of 273ppi. Under the hood sits a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.

The tablet has a front facing 2MP camera and a rear facing 8MP camera for handling photography; a microSD card slot for storage expansion and supports 4G FDD-LTE and 3G W-CDMA networks. Other connectivity options available includes – Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and a full sized USB 2.0 port for connecting to peripherals like a mouse or keyboard without the need of an adapter.

The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE is backed by a 4800mAh battery and comes with a Stylus Pen. It also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office apps – Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as other premium LG UX features such as Gesture shot, Quick Memo app, QPAIR 2.0, Knock Code and more.
