Recently, Google announced the launch of the new version of its smartwatch OS – the Android Wear 2.0 , alongside two new LG smartwatches – the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style. Both smartwatches boot Google’s latest OS for wearables and arrives with new features such as getting on-the-go help from Google Assistant and customising informative watch faces.
Some of the smartwatches getting the Android Wear 2.0 update include: the Huawei Watch, Moto 360 2nd Gen, ASUS ZenWatch 2 & 3, LG G Watch R, LG Watch Urbane & 2nd Edition LTE, Michael Kors Access Smartwatches, TAG Heuer Connected, Fossil Q Founder, Fossil Q Marshal and Fossil Q Wander.

Available in Dark Blue and Titanium colours, the LG Watch Sport is the high-end of the duo with GPS for tracking, heart rate sensor for workouts, NFC for payments, high performance elastomer strap, cellular connectivity (LTE) and a rotating power button which allows user scroll through stream, bring up the app launcher or get help from Google Assistant.
On its part, the LG Watch Style is light, comfortable to wear and compatible with snap-and-swap 18mm leather and silicone bands. It also has the rotating power button.
Designed in collaboration with Google, the two LG watches will be available from the Google Store and other retailers in the U.S starting February 10. Other markets such as Canada, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE and UK, will get the smartwatches in coming weeks. The Watch Sport starts at $349 while the Watch Style starts at $249.
