LG has began the global rollout of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE starting off in the US and South Korea this month. Key markets in Europe, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States will follow in coming months. There is no info on pricing and purchase details, all that will be announced locally when it becomes available.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is the first Android wear smartwatch with cellular connectivity and also kickstart the feature for Android wear devices. It is compatible with Android as well as iOS smartphones and allows users to make & answer calls, send and receive messages, track fitness, run favourites apps and get answers from Google.
It sports a round 1.38-inch (480 x 480 pixels) P-OLED display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 768MB of RAM, 4GB built-in storage and is backed by a 570mAh battery with Power saving mode. There are three buttons on the side of the watch to access – LG Health, Shortcut settings and other apps.
