LG has announced a surprisingly Wine Smart flip (clamshell smartphone) specifically for the Korean market. The device is targeted at Handicapped and Elderly users and its likely the device wound be available in other markets.

The LG Wine Smart (LG-F480) features a 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 320×480 (HVGA) pixels, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage onboard and a microSD card slot for expansion. On the rear is a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera.
The LG Wine Smart measures 118.6 x 59.4 x 16.9mm, weighs 140.8 grams, runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s UX skin on top & powered by a 1700mAh removable battery. Connectivity features on the flip smartphone includes LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and FM radio.
The LG Wine Smart is expected to go on sale starting September 26th in South Korea in Black and White colour option to choose from. Pricing and availability details in other regions is however yet unknown.
