Samsung has listed Limited Edition of the Galaxy Alpha with leather back on the french version of the company’s website. The leather back edition are designed in collaboration with Free Lance and Jean-Baptiste Rautureau.
It is targeted at both sexes – with the Teal and Burgundy colour for the Ladies; Dark Grey and brown for the men. Only 100 units of each version would be created, making a total of just 400 pieces. The type of leather used is not exactly detailed but this edition would cost €649 (around $794) which a tad more than the initial €569 (~$696) in France.
The full metal-clad Samsung Galaxy Alpha is credited as the first smartphone from the company to feature a full metal frame as against the popular plastic body build used. It packs a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 5430 processor, 12MP rear camera with support for 4K video, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor and a 1840mAh battery.
You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Alpha in Gold, Charcoal Black and Dazzling White from Konga.com in Nigeria for N112,000.
