Without much fanfare, Samsung has teamed up with Marvel again, to announce a Limited Edition of one of its flagship offering and this time it is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ which is based on the Marvel Super Hero Ant Man.
Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Ant Man Edition, the device however does not live up to the expectations fans have built up thanks to the Iron Man edition of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which certainly caught the eye of many.
The device as the name suggests is based on the 32GB internal storage model of the phablet-sized Galaxy S6 Edge+ and for all of exclusiveness, it comes with a customised package box, protective case and an expected Ant Man related wallpaper/theme in the mix.
Unlike Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition which has the picture of the Tony Stark based Marvel Hero splashed on it and the wireless charger, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ Ant Man Edition keeps the original custom design and the wireless charger is also the custom one.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Ant Man Edition is available on a limited basis in China for a steep price of CNY 5888 (about USD 926 or EUR 848 based on current exchange rate) and is listed on Tmall.com. I must say this is a very high price for believing in Super Heroes but who am I to judge what you believe in.
