Lava has announced a new smartphone into the Iris Series of device from the company. The device in question is the Lava Iris Alfa L which succeeds the Lava Iris Alfa launched earlier this year and it comes with a huge battery capacity and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The Lava Iris Alfa L features a 5.5-inch (960 X 540 pixels) qHD IPS display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and there is a microSD card slot on-board for storage expansion. On the rear is a 8MP PureCel sensor camera with LED and the front facing camera is a VGA (0.3MP) unit.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It supports Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby, FM Radio, Dual Speakers and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It measures 152 x 78.9 x 9.35mm in dimensions, weighs 165 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The Lava Iris Alfa L is available for Rs 8000 ($126) in Metallic Grey and White colour options. The company is also selling a flip cover for the device separately for Rs 399 ($6)
