Relatively unknown Chinese company, Macoox has announced the – Macoox EX1 a low-end smartphone with an ample sized battery capacity. It is currently the device with the most capacity in the market with a 9000mAh battery.
Measuring around 14 – 15mm in thickness, Macoox EX1 is powered by a quad-core processor, sports a 4.5-inch display with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space. For photography, there is a rear facing 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-Megapixels camera with selfies as well as video chats.
Despite the low-end specs, the thickness and the weight, the device still supports 4G LTE connectivity and could last up to 4 to 5 days (or more) of mixed usage as the functions won’t be as demanding as higher-end device. The internal storage could be expandable and there should be Dual SIM slots.
There is no word on pricing of the Macoox EX1but the Android OS running device will outperform so many power banks around but then there is no mention of reverse charging or being used as a power bank. Personally, the 9000mAh battery would have thrived well on a higher mid-range smartphone and hopefully there would be quick charging to reduce charging time.
