Low-End Vivo Y51 and Vivo Y51L Certified on TENAA

While Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus flagships today; some low-end devices from the company has passed TENAA certification and could go official along the aforementioned devices. 

Both the Vivo Y51 and Y51L are basically the same device but could be for different regions or specific carrier. The only notable difference is the Android Lollipop OS the devices runs – the Y51 runs Android 5.0 while the Y51L runs Android 5.0.2.

There is another variant of the Y51 which is the Vivo Y51A; it shares similar specs and design but comes just 1GB of RAM compared to 2GB on the Y51 and Y51L.

The Vivo Y51 and variants packs a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 16GB built-in storage space. The phone has Dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

There is a front facing 5-megapixels camera presumably for video chats and selfies; and a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash. Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, GPS and 4G LTE. It measures 143.8 x 71.7 x 7.52mm in dimensions, weighs 157 grams and is available in White colour option only.
