LTE enabled LG G Stylo midrange phablet announced in South Korea; supports up to 2TB for microSD card

LG has taken wraps off a new phablet – the LG G Stylo which will be available in South Korea for now. The phablet sized G Stylo is said to be the successor of the LG G3 Stylus which was announced last year; it comes with a built-in Stylus Pen, supports LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The LG G Stylo features a 5.7-inch (1280× 720 pixels) HD IPS in-cell touch display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot is available for storage expansion (up to a massive 2TB more space). 

The main camera is a 8MP unit with LED flash and there is a 5Mp front facing camera onboard. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3G HSPA+/4G LTE. It measures 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6mm in dimensions, weighs 163g, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with LG UX features included and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

Users can add memos directly using the stylus pen on the home screen thanks to the Q Memo Plus Widget. The LG G Stylo would be available in South Korea through local carrier KT for 400,000 Korean Won (USD$370) in Titanium and White colour options. The G Stylo is expected to see a global release by May.
