Oppo has officially announced the Oppo A31 which spearheads the A series of smartphone from the company; the device was spotted as it got certified on TENAA in China. The midrange smartphone is now available in China for a price tag equivalent to around $160 (CNY 999) and could be released in other markets including India and some parts of Europe soon.
The Oppo A31 bears the Dual Glass design; a metal frame and measures 8mm thin. The device is powered by the 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
The device uses a 4.5-inch (854 X 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and boots Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Color OS 2.0 UI ontop. The main camera is a 8MP unit with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for video calls and selfies. Connectivity wise there is Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4) which theoretically reaches up to 150Mbps download speed.
The Oppo A31 supports Dual SIM functionality (supports 4G LTE in both SIM slots), measures 131.9 × 65.5 x 8mm in full dimensions, weighs 165 grams and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. Available colour options are Ice White and Sapphire Blue; orders for the device starts on April 17th by 10:00AM Chinese Time.
