ZTE has taken the wraps off the ZTE Blade D6 at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015. The midrange device which is a new entrant in the company’s Blade series of smartphone will be available in four colour variants – Gold, Gray, Pink and Silver. Markets such as Australia, Japan and Russia are confirmed to get the device.
Following in the footstep of other ZTE Blade devices, it has a premium looking metal body build which is made from high-grade 6013 aluminium alloy, measures just 6.95mm thin with the full dimensions stands at 142 x 69.5 x 6.95mm and weighs rather lightweight at 120 grams.
The ZTE Blade D6 sports a 5-inch HD display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage space, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with MiFavor 3.2 UI ontop and is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
On the rear, there is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with True Tone flash and a front facing 5MP Fixed Focus camera with 88-degree wide angle lens for selfies. The camera comes with photography features such as Auto Panorama, HD continuous shooting, smile shutter function and more.
The ZTE Blade D6 comes with an innovative ‘3-in-2’ tray which house a micro SIM as well as a either a Nano SIM and a microSD card slot (talking about Hybrid Dual SIM slots). It supports 4G LTE connectivity with the following network bands – FDD-LTE bands B1/3/7/8/20 and TDD-LTE band 40.
Other connectivity options includes GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.000; and also has Accelerometer, Proximity, Light and Compass sensor options. There is no pricing details for the ZTE Blade D6 as at announcement.
